Rates and Availability

These prices include bedding. Also included is unlimited WiFi usage, gas, water and 20 units/day of electricity (extra will be charged at cost price which usually only happens during winter).

Not included is ‘taxe de séjour’ which is the local holiday tax. The way the charge is  calculated was changed throughout France for 2019 and has remained the same for 2020. This charge has become slightly more complicated as River Cottage is currently ‘sans classement’ or not classed . It will however, never exceed €2.30/adult /night. To work it out, divide the weekly rate by 7 to get the daily rate. Divide this by the number of people staying during your visit (including children) and calculate 5% of this amount. This will give you the rate/adult/night.

For example: 2 adult and 2 children staying at high season for 7 nights would incur a charge of €1.29/adult /night which would total €18.

I can give you a quote for the tax when you make a booking enquiry. This taxe de séjour will be added to your final bill.
